Hunch vs StoryGraph: mood tags or a personal prediction?

StoryGraph is a reading tracker that describes books by mood, pace and content warnings and lets you filter by them. Hunch takes one book and predicts how much you personally will enjoy it, with reasons. StoryGraph is better for browsing and stats; Hunch is better for a yes-or-no decision about a specific book.

What StoryGraph does well

Reader-contributed moods and content warnings, detailed charts of your reading, and filters that let you search by how a book feels.

What Hunch does differently

Instead of tags you interpret yourself, Hunch weighs a book against your own taste and gives a single prediction out of 5, broken into eight factors with an explanation of each. It identifies a book from a photo of its cover, which makes it quick to use in a bookshop. Hunch also shows moods and content warnings, drawn from Hardcover.

Using both

Track and browse in StoryGraph; ask Hunch when you're deciding on one book. Telling Hunch a few books you loved and disliked takes about two minutes, and that is what its predictions start from.
